Welcome to Lavender next the sea a new company based on the North Norfolk coast, at Wells next the sea. It all started with all but a few lavender plants on our allotment, we now have lavender rows dotted all around Wells in North Norfolk.
The lavender plants that we now harvest at Wells next the sea are nearly all direct descendants of the first original lavender that we inherited on our allotment. We have experimented with this lavender to find the right equation for our Norfolk lavender business. This lavender has long lasting scent properties, one of the best so far that we have found. The lavender we grow is grown with love and good Norfolk well drained soil. The lavender is grown with out the use of chemical sprays and we grow with organic interests.
The lavender is harvested and dried using the suns natural energy. We have a reduce, reuse, recycle policy. My daughter and I run our lavender business together, located in Wells next the sea.
From Easter to October, Lavender next the sea can be found at Ostler Cottage, Stearmans Yard, Wells next the sea, Norfolk,(on the car park off Freeman St.) Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun 10 - 5.
